About me
Dr Leong is a consultant radiologist at Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals, as well as a lecturer at Griffith University School of Medicine. He is fluent in English and Cantonese, and also speaks basic Mandarin. Dr Leong completed his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 2013. Since graduating he has worked at the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he completed his radiology training in 2021. Since then he has also completed a further breast imaging fellowship with Lumus Imaging. Dr Leong has a wide range of subspecialty interests and further training in radiology, particularly in breast imaging, imaging-guided procedures, and pain management. Outside of work, Dr Leong enjoys playing and watching sports (particularly soccer, swimming and golf), traveling, and spending time with family (which includes his beloved Golden Retriever named Louie).
The best part of my job is being part of a multidisciplinary team, with communication and co-operation between our excellent staff, General Practitioners, and other specialists to provide holistic and effective patient diagnosis and care.
