Background

Dr Zita Gacs is a Radiologist based in Western Sydney at the Fairfield practice. Dr Gacs completed her medical training at Semmelweiss University, Hungary and radiology training in Budapest, Hungary. Dr Gacs has completed several fellowships including a Breast Imaging Fellowship at the Jules Bordet Institute, Belgium, a Fellowship in MRI at the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle (including time as a staff specialist) and Breast MRI training in Seattle, USA. Dr Gacs became a Fellow of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) in 1992 and attained her accreditation as a Fellow of the Australian New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1994.

Dr Gacs is a VMO at Liverpool Hospital and works at Macquarie University Hospital as a radiologist where she is leading the Urology multiple discipline team and reporting prostate MRI.

Dr Gacs has a special interest in Women’s Imaging, particularly Mammography and Breast MRI.
