About me

After attending medical school at Glasgow University, Scotland, I carried out my radiology training at the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh.

When my training was complete, I moved to Tasmania to work at Mersey General Hospital in Devenport. Later, I worked at the Royal Prince Alfred and Concord Hospital in Sydney. Over 20 years ago, I started my own practice in Marrickville. I still work in the same practice today as the managing radiologist and I’m proud that it’s become an integral service provider for the local community.

Why I love what I do

I love the constant advancement in imaging technology and keeping aligned with the latest diagnostic practices so I can deliver an efficient service with quality diagnosis to my patients.

It’s been a great privilege to serve the local community for many years, nurturing strong relationships with patients, referring doctors and my loyal staff.

My Interests outside of work

I love cycling fast up mountains and skiing fast down mountains. I also enjoy the challenges of the royal and ancient game of golf, and I avoid cooking whenever possible.

Lumus Imaging reaches 150 locations Australia wide, home of specialist knowledge, delivered with care.
