Dr Ajay Kapoor is a Radiologist based in Northern Melbourne. Dr Kapoor completed his medical training at Government Medical College, Nagpur, India and radiology training at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur, India. Dr Kapoor has previous experience working in public and private hospitals, as well as community practice. He has worked within the Lumus Imaging network at Wimmera Base Hospital in Horsham, The Northern Hospital, Ringwood Private Hospital, Brunswick Private Hospital, Epping Plaza Medical Centre, and Glenroy Community practice. Dr Kapoor has an interest in education and is involved with teaching Registrars at the Northern Hospital and Registrars and medical students at Wimmera Base Hospital.

Dr Kapoor enjoys interacting with doctors, especially to discuss challenging cases and obtain feedback on outcomes. Outside of Radiology, Dr Kapoor enjoys interests including travelling, listening to audiobooks, and kayaking.
