About me

Dr Macfarlane is a Nuclear Medicine Physician. He studied his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland; was a Registrar (Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital), and a Fellow (University of Michigan, USA). Dr Macfarlane’s previous experience includes time as a Consultant at Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, Austin Repatriation Medical Centre and Gold Coast University Hospital. He also has 40 peer-reviewed articles and presentations. Outside of work, Dr Macfarlane enjoys good food, reading, music and travel.
