Dr de Campo completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Melbourne before completing a Master of Health Administration at the University of New South Wales in 1993. He was a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Medical Administrators (1994 – 2007), a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists (1980) and has a prolific publication history in medical journals spanning the past 40 years. Dr de Campo’s previous experience includes time as Staff Radiologist (Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne and Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Adelaide), Executive Management (Women’s and Children’s Hospitals, Melbourne), Director and Associate Professor (Southern Health Imaging), CEO North Metro Health Service (Perth), Consultant Radiologist (IMed), Radiologist (Epworth Hospital, Northern Hospital HIS; Royal Hobart Hospital; Everlight) and A/Professor (Radiology Department, Melbourne University – Honorary Principal Fellow).
