What is the Graduate Sponsorship Program?

Fourth year students or graduates can apply for a sponsorship with Lumus Imaging Queensland up to a maximum of $15,000 to be awarded on the successful completion of their graduate year (1976 hours).

Scope

1. The Graduate Sponsorship Program applies to all current fourth year students or graduates who complete a successful graduate year with Lumus Imaging and fulfill the requirements of the program.
2. The sponsorship payment will be paid to the applicant in two installments. These payments will be 50% of the awarded sponsorship amount, and paid at the mid-point and on successful completion at the end of their graduate year.
3. The Graduate Sponsorship Program is eligible at all Queensland (QLD) and Northern New South Wales (NNSW) Lumus Imaging clinics.

Who is eligible to participate in our Graduate Sponsorship Program?

All current students from a university accredited in Australia, who are seeking to complete a graduate year in Lumus Imaging Queensland are eligible to participate in our Graduate Sponsorship Program.

Additional conditions for the Graduate Sponsorship Program:

• Inclusion and acceptance into the Graduate Sponsorship Program is via successful application only. 
• The student must be currently enrolled in an accredited Australian university, or on recent completion of their Medical Imaging degree through their university. 
• The applicant must have full employment rights to work in Australia. 
• The value of the awarded sponsorship is based on zoning of our QLD and NNSW clinics. 
• The applicant must align with all Lumus values. 
• The location of the clinic where the placement is to be performed must be a minimum of 100km from both the applicants home and university. 
• The applicant must have maintained a 5.0 GPA or equivalent prior to application.  
• The sponsorship amount is an ex-gratia payment (subject to applicable tax and superannuation). 
• The student must successfully apply between the program dates listed above. 
• There are no retrospective applications or approval, only graduates who have successfully applied and have not yet commenced their graduate year with Lumus Imaging. 
• The sponsorship payment will be paid to the applicant in two installments. These payments will be 50% of the awarded sponsorship amount and paid at the mid-point, and the remaining 50% on successful completion at the end of their graduate year. 
• If the graduate does not complete the placement, no payment will be paid.

• The Graduate Sponsorship Program may be subject to change in accordance with the needs of the business. 
• The Graduate Sponsorship Program does not form part of any employee’s contract of employment.
