About me
Dr Brendan Litton is a Radiologist based in Tweed Heads, NSW.
Before studying Medicine, Dr Litton achieved a first-class honours degree in Pure Mathematics. He completed his medical education at The University of Sydney and was appointed as an ED / ICU Registrar in 2004. Dr Litton undertook radiology training at Westmead Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Queensland.Dr Litton has been a Consultant Radiologist at Tweed Heads Hospital since 2010.
He maintains a strong interest in medical education, providing training to both medical students and hospital trainees in medicine, ICU and emergency, in addition to creating and supervising an innovative radiology residency.
Dr Litton has radiological interests which include: oncology imaging, running the lung, upper gastrointestinal and lower gastrointestinal cancer MDTs; body intervention, providing port-a-cath, vascath, and other vascular access procedures, nephrostomy / ureteric stenting, percutaneous gastrostomy, drainage, biopsy, and spinal / peripheral pain interventions; and women’s imaging, including ultrasound, sonohysterography, pelvic MRI, and HSG / recanalisation procedures for fertility investigation.
